Junior pawsTaking little steps for the environment
2nd projectEducating The Poor
ProblemShould only the learned people be educated about the environment ,don’t even the illiterate people have the right to be educated about the environment? In fact the illiterate people help more in the conservation of the environment than the literate people.
Ideas Thought by usAt first we just decided to give a donation to them and buy a few things as a social help. After thinking a little we asked ourselves “why don’t we teach them a few things. Then we finally decided to teach them about environment.
We put up a stall in the MCGM ground Raheja Vihar, Powai to raise funds. We bought day to day articles as well as thought them various things. We bought for them mirrors, pencils, erasers, charts on learning, books, activity books etc. we taught them how important is it to keep surroundings clean and also the conservation of the environment
Letter from the crèche
We meet the children from the crèche almost everyday after school and we love doing so! They tell us who all have being wasting water!
We thank our principal for the opportunity and the support provided to us. We finally would like to thank the ‘DESIGN FOR CHANGE’ group for providing this opportunity.
