This study investigates the effect of different particle sizes of titanium diboride (TiB2) on the structure and mechanical properties of aluminum-magnesium (Al-Mg) alloys. It was found that the incorporation of micro- and nanoparticles of TiB2 improved the yield strength, tensile strength, and plasticity of the as-cast alloys, although the effects were reduced after subsequent rolling and annealing processes. The research emphasizes the role of titanium diboride in enhancing aluminum alloys through grain refinement and dispersion hardening during solidification and deformation.
