Informative speech critique

Name: Sandra Cash ID# 971382<br />Date: November 7, 2010<br />SPE1075 <br /> <br />Critique<br />In this critique I will analyze how I delivered my informative speech on November 6, 2010 at home church at my house. I will analyze what I accomplished effectively when I delivered my speech. Then I will look at what I need to improve to become a more efficient speaker. The goal of this critique is to see what I accomplished as the speaker and what I need to improve to become a more efficient speaker.<br />The first thing that I accomplished was I had a topic that my audience was really interested in. Because I had an interesting topic my audience was really ready to listen to me. The second thing that I did well was I accomplished my purpose of the speech. Now my home church knows how flood myths came to be and why there are so many of them. The third thing that I did well is when I got lost in my speech my power point helped me find my place.<br />There are a few things that I feel I need to improve on in order to become a better speaker. The first one is I need to talk louder I noticed while watching my speech it is a little hard to hear me. I need to keep working on talking louder when I’m delivering my speeches. The second one is that I wasn’t always on time with my power point. While giving my speech I noticed that I was either behind or ahead with the power point. Lastly I looked really nervous, when I was nervous; mostly because it was new for me to deliver a speech and present a power point. <br />The goal of this critique is to analyze how I delivered my informative speech. To point out what I accomplished as the speaker, and to see what I need to improve to become a better and efficient speaker. Through this critique I now know what I need to improve and what I accomplished. <br />
