Self intro speech
- 1. Self –intro speech<br />Hello my name is Sandy Cash. Some of you know me really well, where some of you know only a little bit about me. So today I have picked three items to help you get to know me. The first one is a Mexican doll, the second one is the American flag, and the third one is a blanket I bought in Mexico.<br />The Mexican doll represents that I was born in Mexico. It also represents that Mexico is still apart of me. Even though I live in the U.S. and I am a citizen of the U.S., I still consider Mexico as part of me. Just like you consider where you are from as part of you.<br />The American flag represents a couple of things for me. First it represents that I am a U.S. citizen. Second it represents that I am adopted from Mexico and brought here to the U.S. This was a hard process to bring me here to the U.S. So not only does this flag represent that I am a U.S. citizen, but it also represents the long and hard process my parents went through to adopt me. <br />The blanket I bought in Mexico represents that I am a Christian and that I enjoy going on mission trips. In April of 2008 I felt like God was calling me to go on the Mexico mission trip my church was going on. After a lot of praying because I didn’t have a passport and I didn’t want to be stuck in Mexico and have to go through a long process of being let back into the U.S., my parents and I decided that I would go on this mission trip. I learned a lot of things by going on this mission trip, like how I should be thankful for every day things that some people in Mexico did not have. The experience from the Mexico mission trip has shaped who I am and will always be part of me.<br />I hope through the Mexican doll, the American flag, and the blanket I bought in Mexico you got to know me better. I am Sandy Cash and this is a part of who I am.<br />
