Initial response to brief
- 1. Initial Response to Brief After looking at the brief, I have started developing some ideas on how I wish to create my final product, a music video. Firstly, I had to choose a song and to do this I listened to a range of songs from different genres to see which one I felt I could do something with, my first initial song was going to be Khalid- Saved however after listening to it a number of times I was struggling to think of ideas for the video. So I chose to create a music video to Farr- Down, I believe I can do a lot more with the video in terms of narrative or concept and this song allows me to experiment with my ideas until I am happy with the end result. In terms of location, I am going to be using places around London and preferably film it when it is dark so the lights will be on and create the atmosphere I want. I am going to be using the camera as a point of view of someone’s vision and in frame of the camera will be one actor walking around London as if she is talking to the person/camera. The main actor in the video is going to be female and the camera is going to be playing a boy, it is going to follow them walking around London until they reach their final destination where they depart from one another. The lyrics of the song fit with this video idea as it is based on someone staying by someone’s side while they are ‘going down’ as it states in the song. This is going too be represented in my video when they are constantly together until the end.
