The student filmed establishing shots of London from Primrose Hill on December 20th, but the footage was shaky so they planned to film another shot. On December 27th, the student met with actors and planned to film scenes during half term. On January 11th and 14th, the student filmed chasing scenes in Denton and scenes at their house with their little sister and main actor. After receiving feedback, the student re-filmed some scenes and improved the trailer by removing a sound effect as advised.

- 1. Production! On the 20thDecember during a lesson my teacher allowed me to go film. I went up primrose hill and filmed an establishing shot of London the reason of this shot is that the audience know that the film is going to be set in London. When creating my film I didn’t use this shot because the footage was really wobbly therefore I had to go get a tripod and film another one but this time I thought it will be better to get a shot of my estates. On the 27th of December I had a meeting with all the actors that are going to be in my trailer and figured out a date when they are all free so that they can come and be in my trailer. As the director I had to be in charge of all of this. We planned to meet up during the half term on the 29th of December, me and the crew film the shot when all the chasing happened. I couldn’t film after as I was going on holiday. On the 11thof January me and one of my main actors (Oli) filmed more of the chasing scenes in Denton we did the several times to get the perfect shot we tried a lot of angles. Another positive thing was that the lighting was perfect. I needed a scene at someone’s house. On the 14th of January I got the main character (Oli) to come my house around 4:00pm the reason I chose this time is because my little sister comes back from school and I needed her in my trailer. We filmed the part where Macy and Leon are spending time together at home. This day I did a lot of filming at my house I also filmed the scene where people break in the house and batter the father. I had to do this several of times because there will always be some sort of mistake. On my trailer I used the footage were the punches look fake but you do not realise it a lot. I didn’t really have that much time to re-film that part. I thought it would be good if I put text on the bottom of my trailer but then after receiving some feedback, I realised that as it was going to be shown in a cinema peoples head could get in the way, therefore I replaced it back in the middle. After putting my trailers together I didn’t like some of the footage I filmed therefore I had to get the camera and re-film it. The footage I re-filmed was the part where Oli gets chased and he grabs the other gang member. I did this on the 19th February. When editing my trailer I got a lot of feedback which helped me make my trailer even better. I thought it would be good to get a sound effect when the door gets kicked but when I showed my teacher she said it will be better without it because it was to cheesy and that normal trailers don’t have sound effects when something happened.
