Main objectives of Avishkar
 To inculcate research culture among students.
 To encourage original and novel thinking.
 To provide an opportunity for expression of
academic talent.
 To promote interaction among academia, R & D
Institutes and Industries.
Basic Information
 It is a novel research project competition.
 Started in year 2006.
 His Excellency, Governor of Maharashtra has initiated
this activity.
 SPPU has won maximum time champion trophy.
 Participation of talented students from rural and urban
areas.
Benefits of participation in Avishkar
 Participation certificate from SPPU.
 Improvement in presentation Skill development.
 Research motivation.
 Industry interaction.
 Patents filing easier.
 Gateway to Anveshan & other global competitions.
 First Prize Rs.5000/- & Second Rs.3000/
Important instructions
 Project should be in the form of live demo/models/posters.
 Project should be based on innovative ideas.
 Each college can send a maximum of two entries in each
category, irrespective of their levels (UG/PG / M.Phil-
Ph.D.)
 Display posters of 1m X 1m size.
 Time is limited (Max 10 min) presentation and question
and answers.
