- 2. Main objectives of Avishkar To inculcate research culture among students. To encourage original and novel thinking. To provide an opportunity for expression of academic talent. To promote interaction among academia, R & D Institutes and Industries.
- 3. Basic Information It is a novel research project competition. Started in year 2006. His Excellency, Governor of Maharashtra has initiated this activity. SPPU has won maximum time champion trophy. Participation of talented students from rural and urban areas.
- 4. Benefits of participation in Avishkar Participation certificate from SPPU. Improvement in presentation Skill development. Research motivation. Industry interaction. Patents filing easier. Gateway to Anveshan & other global competitions. First Prize Rs.5000/- & Second Rs.3000/
- 5. Important instructions Project should be in the form of live demo/models/posters. Project should be based on innovative ideas. Each college can send a maximum of two entries in each category, irrespective of their levels (UG/PG / M.Phil- Ph.D.) Display posters of 1m X 1m size. Time is limited (Max 10 min) presentation and question and answers.

- 10. Myths about Avishkar I am not talented ( I am not a scientist). I have no time. It will affect on my marks. It requires a very sophisticated laboratories. It requires a lot of money. If I do not get prize then it will be a wastage of my time and money.
