Open the image in your chosen image editor a) Crop and resize your image as necessary to around 500-600px wide if landscape. Open your presentation software a) Insert your image b) Add your labels and annotations as needed • Use contrasting colours to stand out • Remember to number steps • Use arrows, circles, boxes for emphasis • If your text is on top of the image then fill the text background with a contrasting colour to the text c) Group your image and ALL your additions into one group d) Save – useful if you want to amend later Jo Hart – ELFADA 2nd Block – Instructions 2012

Open your image editing software You should now have both presentation and image editing open. a) In “presentation” select the entire group of your image and added text. b) Copy the selection c) Go to “image editing” and use “Paste as new image” or its equivalent Jo Hart – ELFADA 2nd Block – Instructions 2012
