To add notes directly to a PowerPoint slide: 1. Ensure the Developer tab is visible by clicking File > Options > Customize Ribbon and selecting Developer under Main Tabs. 2. Click the "ab" icon on the Developer tab to insert a text box for notes. 3. Drag and drop the notes text box where desired on the slide. Then enter notes text which will be saved with the PowerPoint.

- 1. Take Notes right on a PowerPoint Slide
- 2. You need to have “Developer” on your Toolbar (Ribbon) to get this click on “File” Note: Macros do need to be enabled.(pptm)
- 3. Then click on “Options.”
- 4. This Window will appear.
- 7. Click on the arrow on the drop down list to see choices. You want the “Main Tabs” choice.
- 8. A list of Tabs appears, you want to click on the “Developer” tab.
- 9. Make sure the “Developer” box is under “Main Tab”, you might need to “Add.” selected.
- 10. Then click “OK.” The “Developer Tab” will be added to your toolbar (ribbon).
- 12. Click on the icon that has “ab.” Then drag and drop where you want the Notes to appear on slide.
- 14. The Properties Tab will appear.
- 15. Key Properties to Edit: Font: Arial (Default) EnterKeyBehavior: (change to “True”) Set Multiline: (Change to “True”) Font Color: Change as required. Text Align: Left, Right, Center
- 16. Then begin to enter text. The text will be saved with the PowerPoint so you can capture notes as you are in a session.
