1. The project aims to communicate cultural values and construction aspects of buildings using building information modelling (BIM) and semantic web technologies to manage and preserve built heritage. 2. The modelling procedure involves learning about, digitally reconstructing, analyzing, semantically enriching, and integrating information about the Ghent University Library Book Tower. 3. BIM models of the Book Tower were created in Autodesk Revit and integrated with ontologies in Topbraid Composer. This allows built heritage information to be modelled using BIM and semantic web technologies and integrated with other heritage information.
