Ubiquitous Localization and Timing 4. 3D Digital Modeling • Two main transitional processes: – integration and fusion of space and ground technologies and infrastructures, aiming at a new, enhanced representation of our physical world – progressive dematerialization of products and their transformation in services • In this “New Digital World”, the future of space technologies relies on two words: “integration” and “fusion”. 2
