- 4. Matter is the stuff that everything is made up of. You are made up of matter so is everything in this room. *If it has mass it is made of matter*
- 5. Matter is made up of very small objects called “particles” These particles create our different states of matter
- 6. Solid -- When the particles are packed very close together Liquid -- Particles are loosely packed and takes the shape of its container Gas -- Particles are not connected at all and fly freely in the air
- 8. This is how it looks if you were all the different states of matter;

- 10. At Grade 5 we will only be looking at; 2 or more solids Solid and liquid 2 or more liquids
