Researching at RafflesRaffles Research Policy (effective immediately) Recognizing the internet as a valuable resource for research activities, and that the problem is in its use and not the resource itself, Raffles has adopted the following policy:You must utilize and reference resources from both the internet as well as physical reference libraries.A listing of these libraries is attached to this document.When referencing resources, Raffles expects that certain acceptable formats are followed. See the attachment, “How to Provide a Reference” and make sure that you use it every time you turn in a paper. See Page 14 of your policy document.Wikipedia should be used as a resource for thinking and organizing only. DO NOT REFERENCE WIKI IN ANY RAFFLES RESEARCH.

If you are uncertain seek advice from your lecturer.Your grade may be affected by:Improper use of internet resourcesWiki; If you can’t find the reference, don’t use it.Citingthe URL is not considered a good reference.Improper or no referencing used in assessmentsPlagiarism including cut and paste Your paraphrased work must show through.We are looking for “your thinking”.
