THE PALACE OF THE PARLIAMENT
is the second largest building
in the world. It is the
headquarters of the Parliament.It
is located in Bucharest, the
Romanian capital.

Legend Of Dracula - Vlad Țepeș was the
Prince of Wallachia. During his reign, it
has temporarily won independence
from the Ottoman Empire and the state
developed. He is known as Prince
Impaler, due to his manner to execute
enemies. The book written by Bram
Stoker, Dracula, is not directly based on
the rule of Vlad Țepeș, but a fiction that
takes place in Transylvania in nineteenth
century England. Following the
success of the
novel
Transylvania is
associated
with the fictional

medieval fortress, one of the most important monuments
of Gothic architecture in Transylvania
Voroneț
România - Monestery
Hoard of the Bukovina is framed in UNESCO's catalog - "Great
monuments of the world.”Using colors such as blue Voroneţ, Humor
Red or green of Arbore, painters (mostly unknown) have described the
biblical stories of earth and heaven, scenes from the life of the Holy
Virgin and Jesus Christ, the story's beginnings and life after death.

Sarmizegetusa Regia was the most important Dacian
military, religious and political centre.
The archaeological inventory found at the site shows that
Dacian society had a high standard of living.
Sarmizegetusa also had a sacred precinct
- the famous Circular Calendar Sanctuary.

The Berca Mud Volcanoes are a geological and botanical reservation.
Its most spectacular feature is the mud volcanoes, small volcano-
shaped structures typically a few meters high caused by the eruption of
mud and natural gases. The reservation is unique in Romania.

formations varying in
size and forms, as well

Caves
Cave Scărișoara shelters the
larger underground glacier
in Romania. The limestone is
formed in the upper Jurasic
age.
The Danube - is the second longest among the rivers of
Europe (after Volga), the only European river that flows
from west to east. It rises in the Black Forest (Germany) and
flows south-east over a distance of about 2860 km, to the
Black Sea.
The Danube Delta - entered into the UNESCO World
Heritage in 1991, is classified as a national biosphere reserve
in Romania and the national park. Contains more than 320
species of birds as well as 45 freshwater fish species in its
numerous lakes and backwaters. This is where millions of
birds from different corners of the Earth (Europe, Asia, Africa,
Mediterranean) come to roost.

• The first documentary
attestation of the city was
made in 1191 by the pope
Celestine the third.
• At first the city was called
Cibinium in 1191, in 1223
was named Villa
Hermanni, and after that
in 1366 was known as
Hermannstadt, and after
many years was named
Sibiu.

history of the city, named The Medieval Festival.
The Potters' Fair
Each September is
organized The
Potters’ Fair, a fair
where the potters
come in the center
of the city to sell
their products who
are made by hand.
Astra Museum
•Astra Museum is the biggest museum of its kind in
Romania.
• This museum is dedicated to the old popular art who
existed in Romania.
Brukenthal Museum
• The Brukenthal Museum
was built by the baron
Samuel von Brukenthal,
between 1778 and 1788.
• The museum is
constituted of the baron’s
collections of art.
