Fields of Earth Science FIELD What is Studied Geology The Earth’s land, including the surface of the Earth and the inside of the Earth; how the Earth changes; history of the Earth Oceanography The Earth’s oceans Meteorology The Earth’s Air and weather Astronomy Outer space, including the planets, stars and other objects in space and how they interact with the Earth
- 5. Project 1 • With a partner you are going to work on a Earth Science Word Sort • DIRECTION: • Get materials • Fold the paper so that you have three (3) sections. Label them: – Astronomy meteorology geology • Place the words on the poster board or boards that you think is the correct category • When everyone has finished we will share out and then place on walls • At the end of the year we will revisit these to see what we have learned. • Be creative : add pictures and color to your work This is your First GRADE
