This document outlines the objectives, learning outcomes, modules, evaluation criteria, and assignments for a course on Electronic Commerce and General Informatics. The objective of the course is to familiarize students with conducting business transactions through electronic media. It covers the basic concepts of e-commerce, models, payment systems, security issues, and setting up an e-commerce business. The course is divided into 5 modules that cover these topics over several weeks. Students will be evaluated based on exams, assignments, and attendance. Two written assignments involve a case study on an e-commerce company and developing a proposal for their own e-commerce business.
