While AC fluctuates from positive to negative to positive. Perhaps think of DC as being like a magnet; while AC is a bit like a wave travelling through the water.DC: Batteries (like remote batteries, mobile phone’s, laptops, car batteries); AC: Home electronics (lights, refridgerator, oven, power transmission).Interesting info about the current wars ..
