Office is produced in several versions targeted towards different users and environments, including desktop, online, and mobile versions. Word is used for creating text documents. Excel creates spreadsheets for data and numerical analysis. PowerPoint is used for creating presentations. The other applications serve specific business functions like databases (Access) and publishing (Publisher). Microsoft Office 2016 is the latest desktop version available in different editions.
