Μέρος 2: Πράσινη
επιχειρηματικότητα
Η πράσινη επιχειρηματικότητα είναι η δραστηριότητα της
συνειδητής αντιμετώπισης ενός περιβαλλοντικού ή/και
κοινωνικού προβλήματος/ανάγκης μέσω της υλοποίησης
επιχειρηματικών ιδεών με υψηλό επίπεδο κινδύνου, το οποίο
έχει καθαρή θετική επίδραση στο φυσικό περιβάλλον και
ταυτόχρονα είναι οικονομικά βιώσιμο. Πράσινο επιχειρηματίας
είναι κάποιος που ξεκινά και τρέχει ένα επιχειρηματικό
εγχείρημα που έχει σχεδιαστεί για να είναι πράσινο στα
προϊόντα και τις διαδικασίες της από την ίδια στιγμή που έχει
συσταθεί.

2.1 Πράσινοι επιχειρηματίες
• Οι πράσινοι επιχειρηματίες έχουν περιβαλλοντικούς και κοινωνικούς
στόχους στις βασικές δραστηριότητές τους, οι στόχοι αυτοί είναι ο
λόγος που υπάρχει η επιχείρησή τους, και όχι σαν μια παρενέργεια
• Εκπαίδευση του καταναλωτή προς τις ιδιαιτερότητες των πράσινων
προϊόντων/υπηρεσιών
• Οι περιβαλλοντικές αξίες αποτελούν μέρος των αξιών της εταιρείας
• Η πράσινη επιχειρηματικότητα μπορεί να συνδέεται (μερικές φορές)
με υψηλότερο κόστος
• Το οικονομικό κέρδος είναι ένας στόχος στο βαθμό που βοηθά στη
διατήρηση της επιχείρησης, έτσι ώστε να μπορεί να συνεχίσει να
εκπληρώνει τους περιβαλλοντικούς της στόχους και να φέρνει οφέλη
στο περιβάλλον
