The study investigates the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 at Central Luzon State University in the Philippines, addressing the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses. It compares two transition methods: dual-stack and 6 to 4 tunnel broker, finding that the dual-stack method outperforms the latter in network performance. The results suggest that migrating to IPv6 is feasible without major performance issues, providing a framework for other academic institutions in the country to follow.
