Saudi Arabian Airlines,DAMMAM
He got married in 1980
Appointed as a instructor of English language
training at a royal saudi naval forces college
in dammam to teach an american language
course supervised by defence language
Working with SMI university as an English
language instructor.
INSTRUCTOR AS A MANAGER
A manager’s work is to regulate the activities of
the institute he is apointed for what is the rule
and regulation of the institute
He involve in decision making where appropriate
As a manager he looks after his all the duties
Being a manager he teaches their student with
sincerety honesty and doesn’t teach about just
english language even he also aware the student
from general knowledge
As a manager he serve their duties he is
responsible that every student understands
INSTRUCTOR AS A FIRST LINE
MANAGER
First line manager ‘s work to manage the works of
individual and gives data to the middle line
manager and middle line manager recieve data
and reach to the top manager.
As a first line manager with their technicals skills
and experience he teaches to the student he
communicate with the student.
As a first line manager he Represents his views,
ideas and feelings to the middle line manager
As a first line manager he thinks strategically that
how he complete his course in 16 weeks

LEADING:
 He try to convience
students that learning
of english can lead to
extra money.
 If the student is more
weaker in english he
mentoring his students
that what problem faces
in this cource and help
to the student.
CONTROLLING:
 For controlling he makes
conceptual paper and
takes final presentation
and assignments on the
different topics that he
analyzed that is he
achieved his goal
efficiently and effectively.

EFFICIENCY
 Sir Zahid’s course outline is designed with
professional and practical approach including only

 In his class timings he takes less time in teaching
topics and provides great knowledge in that time.

Interpersonal Roles
 Sir Zahid Islam uses interpersonal roles
in his class by giving attention to each
student and teaches according to their
needs.
 He listens to the queries of each student
and answers them in the best way.
 He leads the class in a friendly
environment.
 In his very first class he asked all
students individually to introduce
themselves and share their future plans
with him and all the other students.
Informational Roles
 Sir zahid Islam plays informational roles by giving
lectures to the students.
 He collects information from different sources
(internet, books, etc.) and disseminates the
information to the students in the form of lecture.
Decisional Roles
 All the authority belongs to the instructor (Sir zahid
Islam) as he makes decisions about what to teach,
how to teach and which topics should be included in
exams and which should not be.
 At the time of lecture he is the in charge of the class,
he handles any kind of disturbance related to
discipline in between the students.

Technical Skills
A technical skill is the knowledge and
capabilities to perform specialized tasks
related to a specific field; acquired from
experience and training.
Our instructor (Sir Zahid) basically comes in
the first line manager. So, he possesses some
technical skills:
 He conveys information about current topics
and tries to maintain our personal style.
 He provides positive reinforcement and
motivational incentives designed to reach all
learners.
 He synthesizes course information,
personalities, and instructional media.
 Pace lessons appropriately to maximize
information absorption.
 Determine objectives, evaluate the course, and
then deliver effective lectures.
 He tries to build student’s confidence and to
improve their weaknesses.
Human Skills
 Ability to work with other people individually and in groups.
 The managers’ deal with people, these skills are equally
important to all levels of management. Managers with good
human skills get the best out of their people.
 They know how to communicate, motivate, lead, and inspire
enthusiasm and trust.
 He has significant human skills as they interact with their
students.
Conceptual Skills
He has the ability to formulate ideas, or
relating to concepts or mental
conception,existing in the imagination.
To a limited extent, SIR ZAHID utilizes
conceptual skills as courses are
planned according to the syllabus as he
wants to teach.
