Trained and certified in ANSYS, CREO from Government institutes and good knowledge on AUTO CAD/CAM. Projects Undertaken as per Academics and Vocational: 1. ELECTRIC POWER FROM INDUSTRIAL WASTE The project using CAM is entitled ELECTRIC POWER FROM INDUSTRIAL WASTE is used to generate electric power from waste water in industries. The main parts in this project are Waste water container, Rotating blades, Gear and wheel setup, Coil and permanent magnet. The water falls on the vanes with high pressure. So the vanes in the turbine are rotated with constant speed. The gear Set up can be adjusted to control the speed of the fly wheel. A magnet is connected with the gear. The magnet will be rotated when the fly wheel is rotated. The coil is fixed around the magnet. When the fly wheel is rotated, the driver gear is rotated by one cycle and there by the driver gear is rotated 50 times. According to Faraday's law, "As long as there is a change in magnetic flux linked with the coil, an electromagnetic force is induced." So, In each and every rotation, electricity is generated. Thus there is an alternate flow of electricity. Since this uses no fuel, this is very cheap and best. The development of Indian economy mainly depends on Electric power. But it is a major problem in India. We get electric power from various sources like hydroelectric power, wind mill, atomic power, thermal power etc. In India , Industries consume more power. Thus there is a lack of power and it causes power cuts. To minimize this major problem, we have proposed a new concept. The project entitled Electric power from industrial water is used to generate electric power from waste water in industries. 2. COOLANT MONITORING SYSTEM Have done a mini project with title “COOLANT MONITORING SYSTEM” improper coolant concentration and pH levels can not only reduce tool life and cutting accuracy, but can also lead to severe damage to the machine tool and its components. The coolant monitoring system facilitates proactive maintenance to better protect your investment. Coolant concentration and pH levels are monitored and displayed on the THINC control in an easy-to-understand dashboard, facilitating proper maintenance. - 2. uids essential. Maintenance of appropriate cutting fluid at the proper concentration means higher feed rates, deeper cuts, better accuracy, reduced power consumption, and longer tool life. Oil/water emulsions combine the lubricating properties of oil with the cooling properties of water. However, too much water can result in a loss of lubrication, and too much oil can result in higher cutting temperatures and oil costs. This can mean damaged cutting tools, inserts, and parts. Over time, cutting fluid mixtures are lost by transport on the chips and parts, from the machining feed lines through vaporization of the uid into the air, evaporation of the water, and spills during the cutting process. These events result in a change in concentration in the remaining uids contained in the sump. The change in concentration can cause damaged and broken inserts and cutting heads, poorly furnished surfaces on machined parts, loss of accuracy, and serious damage to machine tool components. 3. HHO PROJECT The “HHO PROJECT” is an aspect. The goal of this project is IMPROVING THE FUEL ECONOMY AND REDUCTION OF POLLUTANTS FROM AUTOMOBILES (mainly with reduction of carbon emissions) USING HYDROGEN-HYDROGEN-OXYGEN gas. In this project, HHO gas is used in diesel engines obtained from spiliting water into hydrogen and oxygen from electrolysis and allowing the gas to stay in a premixed state for use on demand without the need of storage. HHO gas mixture burns nearly 10 times faster compared to gasoline air mixture. HHO ignition limits are much wider than gasoline’s. So it can burn easily and give considerably higher efficiency. High ignition temperature but very little energy is required to ignite it. Its clean exhaust is the most attractive feature of all. It prevents green house effect. By using HHO gas we have obtained the best results i.e., using HHO fuel in diesel engine the fuel is saved up to 11.5% per hour and the carbon emissions are reduced from 1.20 to 0.69. Thus the mileage of two wheelers can be increased by 40-100% than the normal using HHO fuel and HHO will reduce carbon monoxide up to 90%. Also horsepower is increased depending on the engine. HHO technology is the innovative idea of saving depletion of the fossil fuels. HHO technology is still considered experimental and the research is further going on this technology to overcome the disadvantages of this fuel. The development in this project is not limited. - 3. About C.I.T.D – Established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a pioneering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO). The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculty were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling. The main objectives of the institute are: Training of the technical personnel in Designing & Manufacture of Tools, Dies & Moulds. Design & Manufacture of dies, jigs, fixtures and guages, etc. Provision of advisory services to Small Scale Units including assistance in design and developing tools for various processes. Recommending measures to standardise components for dies, jigs and other tools. Additional Achievements/Extra Curricular Activities: 1. Successfully organized Technical Symposium in our department which is an annual event conducted in college. This gives students a chance to think, create and execute different and new projects based on their interests. 2. Acted as an Event coordinator for nation level workshop in our college. This workshop is attended by various colleges from across country. Handled and managed entries and participants giving less chance to errors and discomfort. 3. Participated in IC ENGINE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT internship. 4. Participated in inter collegiate technical paper contest, conducted by our Engineer College. 5. Participated in inter-mural college sports. Excelled in cricket as a captain of our team and won so many tournaments. 6. Participated in Cricket University Selections and got selected as a Krishna University team member. 7. Also achieved championship in Volleyball Tournament held in our college.
