INFORMATION TROUBLE REPORT
SYMPTOM :
Machine Powerless
FAILURE : Crack, Dent, Worn, Scratch, Short Circuit, Burn, Bend, Loose, Rusty, Pitting, Broken etc

From Step 1, Linkages work properly and measurement are on specs only to
find out that the Servo Valve(Figure D) sometimes does not retract affecting
the idling of the engine. It does not rev when it gets stocked internally.
Replacement of Servo was done to have proper movement on the Linkages.
From Step 2, Obtaining low engine speed results, we tried to play with the
Linkages. Pushing manually Figure B increases the engine RPM. But it is
raising the output(via exhaust temp) on right bank giving us big difference
compared to the left bank. Then adjustments made on a rod link(Governor)
to balance the output and obtain the standard specifications on Engine
Speed (High and Low).
At T/C Stall and Hydraulic Stall, engine speed is still low,
meaning the machine is still POWERLESS.
Apparently boost pressures is still bad especially in the left
bank even after doing some linkages adjustments. We've been
looking for pressure leaks but everything is intacked.
From these findings, we suspected that there is an internal
failure on the fuel injection pump.
