Jamtli has achieved a high status that we want to keep AWARDS SINCE 1997: 1997 Nominated for the “ European Museum of the Year Award ” 1999 The AB Svenska Spels och Svenskt Kulturarvs Large Award for best children´s activities 2000 the Major Tourist Award in Sweden 2001 one of the top 3 of the best museums (Dagens Nyheter) 2002 one of the top five of best theme parks for children in Sweden (Dagens Nyheter) 2003 recieved a national commission to develop the work of open air museums 2005 was named best regional museum (by the Cultural News, the national television in Sweden) 2006 helped Sverresborg become the best museum ofthe year in Norway. 2006 received the Children´s Tourist Award in Sweden.
