- 2. SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Presently working in BOROUGE at Abudhabi as a mechanicl technician since March 2014,through IMECO. Worked as a Mechanical Technician in SPIC Ltd, Tuticorin from December, 2006 to March 2014. MAINTENANCE: Removing, dismantling, overhauling & assembling the following types of Equipments. To Positioning and aligning of the Equipments. To Troubleshooting of the Equipments. To periodical inspection the equipments. PUMPS: Overhauled all type of equipments both Dynamic & Positive displacement pumps such as Centrifugal (single - Multistage both vertical and horizontal split), Plunger-Piston pumps, Gear pumps, Screw pumps Diaphragm pumps. The works covered with obtaining complete check list of the dismantled equipment & keep record. Inspect & replace all the Moving parts (like impeller, piston-plunger, bearing and wear rings) & Stationary parts (like bearing housing, valves, packing, bushings, and lantern ring). Check and maintain all the clearance like front, back clearances, wear ring clearances, Bearing .clearances & Thrust bearing clearances. Mechanical seal inspection and repair than replace. In plunger pump Full service of crank case, Valve block NRV assembly and fixing. Mfrs : Sulzer, Uraca , Nuovapignone, Micro finish, flowserve, ingersoll-rand, Kirlosker CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS: The work covers with Overhauling, rotor renewal, Radial and Thrust bearing repair & renewal, labyrinth set replacement, rotor axial & radial centering, Seal renewal. And routine checkup of centrifugal compressors. Trouble shooting. Worked in both horizontal split and vertical split type compressors. Removal of floating seal and checking and assembling can be done. Working in 5, 6, 9 stage compressors. Also worked in DRY GAS SEAL Compressor. Done Preventive Maint, Trouble Shooting and Breakdown maintenance covered with cylinder - liner renewal, suction and discharge valves inspection, repair and replacements, rider and piston rings renewal, rod packing renewal, cross head and main bearing clearance checking, Main - Big end bearing renewal and Pumping clearance Adjusting. Lubricator Maintenance. Mfrs: Mitsui, Ingersoll-Rand, SEALS AND PACKINGS: Repairing and installations of various type seals, stuffing box bore trueness checking, recondition of seal faces, full servicing & assembling jobs. All type of Plunger packing system replacing. Compressor wet seal renewal. Mfrs: Johncrane, Burgman, Microfinish, Eagle ponawalla Seals. STEAM TURBINES: Working in low pressure Pump driving Back pressure turbine (inlet esteam pressure 450psi, 900psi). Complete overhauling including rotor renewal, bearing renewal, nozzle clearance inspection, bearing clearance inspection, rotor float checking, rotor centering and labyrinths renewal, carbon packing renewal, trip setting, chest valve assembling jobs carried out.
