- 3. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the activities of the assigned mechanical maintenance crew in the field, give the technical direction and guidance for safe trouble shooting and repair jobs. Check overnight O&M’s log books, insure updating the data daily by the responsible personnel, review work orders, and refer to originators to check equipment or site to determine any work related requirements (safety, Material, manpower, services..) and insure the optimal utilization. Coordinate with maintenance planner to prioritize, schedule and assign jobs to the subordinates,ensure early prepare for all job requirements. Responsible of maintain safety, quality and housekeeping in side mechanical workshop, and job areas as well. Insure the attendance of all mechanical s in the daily safety meeting with maintenance staff. Support the project team by give all the mechanical requirements and request for possible changes which will lead to safe and accessible job areas. Lead the mechanical maintenance crew during the commissioning and start up. Train subordinates and insure their competency for the required job. PUMPS: Dismantling and reassembling of all centrifugal and reciprocating pumps i.e. single and multi-stage, vertical and horizontal, split and also barrel type. Involved in repair such as plunger changing, diaphragmchanging activities such as mechanical seal assembling and aligning the pump with prime mover by Reverse and Graphical method, Rim and Face method. CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS: Experience in Maintenance of single and multi-stage pumps.
