Climate and Nature Workstream Co-Leads Donnie MacNicol works across multiple sectors energising leaders and teams delivering complex change to maximise value and certainty of success through a focus on the human dimension. Jo Jolly is a Deputy Director in the Environment Agency and leads their newly formed Bespoke & Emerging Projects team. Jonathan Williams is a Project Manager at the Environment Agency as well as an apprentice at the Project Data Analyst Academy and is helping the Environment Agency realise the opportunities that project data analytics can provide to improve project delivery performance.

What impact are the myriad of strategies and policies around NetZero having on what we do and how we do it?

What can I learn from others or share with others if doing well? What influence can I have and what do I need to achieve this? … raise your awareness, be better informed, challenge and motivate yourself to make positive choices regarding Carbon on your projects using the power of data

Sharing wisdom • As part of the CSE we ask you: • “What you do / could do” • “Challenges you face” • Capture and share back in your report • Curate and analyse to allow us to: • Share with responders insights as quickly as possible • Identify themes • Inform the 6 Workstreams around challenges • Hold mirror up – provide industry leaders a reality check on lived experience • Challenge effectiveness of policies and strategies • Improve cross sector sharing and learning • Start publishing reports and insights and also sharing at events
- 21. In advance of COP26 in November this year 1. Launch the CSE (with support from the PMI et al) 2. Obtain and analyse any initial data and gain initial insights 3. Publish preliminary findings (if available) 4. Engage with industry leaders to discuss initial findings (if available)

Potential Phase 2 Activities • Introduce company specific CSE completion • Enhance the reports based on the available data • Create a community discussion around what people are doing and how they are overcoming challenges • Help prioritise the 6 workstreams within the Project Data Analytics Task Force (PDATF)
