- 2. As I lay in my diminutive bed, I suddenly fell asleep. I heard all sirens outside my bedroom window. I was in shock. Then, my next door neighbour knocked on my back door, I lay in my bed thinking what could be happening. I thought should get up. I ran into my little sister and brothers bedroom to wake them up I got some blanket’s and ran into the back garden where the shelter was.
- 3. Speeding down the back garden, I made a entrance into the rubble covered shelter. As soon as I got in, it was crowded because it was the only shelter in the whole street. My brother and sister were getting tired by now. I got the blanket’s but they had trouble getting to sleep because Mum and Dad were not there.
