- 2. 1. Create Articles go to content and click on article manager click on new and you will see the below screen shot. Then you can write everything you need. Fill the title of the article, title is not displayed as a link but it is only to mark the content so its wise if you use page names where you want to include it. Eg. - 3. Fill alias as small capitals with no spaces eg About us alias will be about_us. Select category as uncategorized for now. Then press save. You can create as many as possible repeating this all steps. 2. Create Links Links in joomla are called MENU ITEMS. So to create menu item, you go to menus, Main menu, New,articles, article layout you will see the following screenshot Fill title (now title means the link that end user will be seeing) then select the article that you want on the right then press save. You can repeat this step to create as many pages as you want. Default home page: to change the default home page, repeat the above steps and the select home page article. 3. - 4. Select login for example, Fill the tilte, make sure that radio button for ENABLED is ticked YES! Then select position that you want your login to be and then press ENTER. NOTE: you can download more modules and plugins and repeat above steps to install more. 4. CHANGE theme kapa Insert your own theme Go to extention, template manager If you want to change the theme select the theme that you want using radio buttons behind the names of the themes then press DEFAULT (top right) and then refresh your website.
