Time Entertainment - Distribution
There are 3 types of film industry:
Hollywood

The Hollywood film industry holds many conglomerate companies such
as
• Fox,
• Paramount,
• Sony,
• Disney,
• Universal,
• Time Warner.

The Hollywood industry promises –

• Big stars
• Big budget
• Dominating Cinema chains
• Lots of money to spend on advertisement
• Global viewing
• Digital
British
The British film industry receive money from:
• BFI (British Film Industry)
• Film 4
• Lottery
• Film Culture Fund
• Private Investors

They get television releases on:
• BBC
• Film 4

The British film industry receive a smaller budget for producing there films and
advertisement, but they do get money in order to travel to different film festivals
and therefore get there films noticed by distributors. British film industry mainly
get there views from UK audiences, they also have home grown stars in there
movies.
Local

The local film industry is much the same as the British, but local films usually tend
to have small independent companies supporting them.
Local films always use home grown stars, and always have UK audiences. They
always receive the money to visit festivals to get there films noticed.

                                Face Your Fears
‘Face Your Fears’ is in the Local Industry as we have used small independent
companies to produce and distribute our film. Using ‘Candi Studio’ and ‘Time
Entertainment’ has meant we needed no budget. FYF also uses home grown stars
and has a UK audience.
