- 1. The emotions of 5th grade feeling happy bravery a little excitement sort of sad! A little excitement A little excitement
- 2. The day we were creating “ Egypt” Emily , Clark , and I were assigned to make an example of mummies and the afterlife . We had clay to make the tomb out of , a barbie doll as our mummy , an ace bandage to wrap it in , and some paint and we had to make it work …. Well it didn’t turn out that way . We ended up ripping the barbie dolls head off !! We also had to extend the ends of the tomb . That day was wild and crazy and I will cherish it forever feeling happy
- 3. the last book we read was Number The Stars . Everytime I picked up a book and started to read it reminded me of the times I was scared and sad but I was brave in the end . That book was very inspiring to me and taught me to never give up even in the hard times and to always to be brave no matter what . I think that even when I’m older Number The Stars will be one of my favorite books!Bravery
- 4. on march 25 2011 we went to tour the middle school. Everyone was full of excitement and anxiety . All of the fifth graders are ready to be Germantown middle mavericks . When we were at GMS they taught us about what we have to look forward to and what middle school is all about they also told us that there is a lot to expect there and it will be years to remember forever . We got to see all of the classes and hallways. Touring the middle school made me feel kind of nervous because it is really big and crowded . But as a ‘ fixing-to-be” 6th grader I am full of wonder ,excitement, and nervousness. A little excitement

During the time of Lois Lowry’s book “Looking Back” her son Grey passed away. his daughter, Nadine would always look back to all of her memories of her “ pa-pa” and think of the funny things he would say and always add “ when he wasn’t dead “ . The reason I thought this was sad was because I think if I lost my father I would be very upset and I don’t think I could ever look back to all of the memories I had of him . Nadine was a very brave girl and had a lot of strength to speak of her deceased father . She is and idol and inspiration of mine Sort of sad
