- 2. SCENE 1. EXT. FRONT GARDEN - DAY (Title Card - Age Appropriation) Opening shot of the house PANNING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT BEN New house, fresh start - FADE INTO: NEXT SCENE SCENE 2. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY Kate bringing boxes from outside into the living room (Long, wide shots) SHOT REVERSE SHOT THROUGH DIALOGUE BEN - already it looks better than our last one KATE And this is the last box, we’ve officially moved in BEN Oh wait, there’s another box in the car Ben bringing flowers from outside into the living room (long, mid shots) Kate’s face when she notices the flowers (Mid, close up shots) BEN These are for you, i thought they’re brighten up the room KATE Aww oh my god these are are lovely, thank you
- 3. 2. SCENE 3. INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT Different (Wide, Close up, POV) shots of them both sat watching TV (Title Card - "From the makers of Insidious and The Conjuring") KATE We’ve still got a few boxes to unpack BEN just unpack the most important ones for now and leave the rest till we have spare time KATE I’m starting to feel slightly more at home the more i unpack and put everything in its place SCENE 4. INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT Kate notices marks on Ben’s back(POV, close up shots) KATE What are them marks on your back? BEN Whats marks? KATE There are scratches and bruises down your back BEN What? i have no idea what they’re from Kate soon notices marks on her legs(POV, close up shots) KATE Let me have a closer look at them, stay there BEN You’ve got a scratches on your thigh look! (CONTINUED)
- 4. CONTINUED: 3. KATE Oh yeah, well it’s probably something in the bed sheets then, i’ll wash them tomorrow SCENE 5. INT. ATTIC / BEDROOM - DAY Kate takes some boxes into the attic(POV, wide, close up shots) KATE Can you pass me that box on the bed please BEN Here you go BEN Kate! KATE oh sorry, I found a box up here, but i’ve never saw it before, its full of old news articles and pictures BEN Bring it down we’ll have a look through it Both Kate and Ben look through the news articles(POV, close up shots) BEN The pictures look like they have been taken in this house KATE Look at this news article, Thursday the 2nd of February 2012 a family was allegedly murdered in this house BEN These must be the pictures of the family then KATE Why wasn’t we told this before we bought the house? (CONTINUED)

BEN Everything is fine, we don’t know for certain that it happened here (Title Card - film company logo) footsteps come from the bottom of the stairs(POV, long shots) Both look at each other very confused (POV, mid shots) BEN Did you hear that? KATE Go down and see if anybody is there footsteps get faster(POV shot) BEN Hello? The bedroom door slams shut(POV shots) SCENE 6. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY Downstairs things start getting thrown around and doors slam (POV, mid, wide shots) KATE Ben come down quick! Ben! Kate falls upstairs, bedroom door slams shut (Long, wide shots) Kate can’t open the bedroom door (Mid, close up shots) KATE Ben wake up! Please! Ben! (Title Card - "House of The Unknown, August 2015") Kate gets dragged into the spare bedroom screaming and that door slams also (Mid, close up shots)
