Go to khanacademy.org, and click ‘Log in’
2.

     Since Facebook is
     blocked on
     campus, you will sign
     in using your Gmail
     account
3. This is a very important step: Select ‘Coaches’ on the left side.
4. Type: v6math@gmail.com for the address
5. Once you’ve logged in, the Mastery Questions are
 located in the Practice area:

6. Select the correct topic and
your page will look like:
7. There are some topics that require only 8 consecutive
correct answers to master. Others require 10. You can do as
many questions as you need to until you have the required
8 or 10 correct in a row. I will provide you a list of the
mastery topics and their due dates for the first quarter. Your
homework grade is based on practicing the problems and
achieving mastery by the due date each week.
A. Each correct answer results in a
set of leaves moving up into the stack.

B. Once a group of questions has been
completed, you are shown a summary.
If you look at the leaves you can see 2
problems were missed. Mastery has not been achieved.
A. Mastery before due date: 100%
B. Mastery within 3 days after the
due date: 75%
C. Because you should be rewarded
for your efforts, you will receive
2 points for each question answered, correct or not, up to a maximum of 70%. If
you answer 100 questions but still cannot get 10 consecutive correct, you will still
receive a grade of 70.
D. Looking again at the last example, if you stopped at this point, your score
would be 16%--8 questions @ 2 points each. Mastery is achieved through
repetition. If you keep working the exercises, there is no doubt you can master
   every topic.
 Please do not wait until Saturday to begin the week's
exercises. If you start early in the week, you can bring
any questions you may have to class and receive help.

 Check the v6math.blogspot.com site for the weekly
topics, links to help you achieve mastery, and other resources.

 Good Luck. The sooner you make this part of your regular
routine, the more success you will have.
