This document introduces learning models to help eLearning designers create effective training programs. It presents several models for different stages of the eLearning development process: (1) gaining attention and setting direction at the beginning, (2) using information, knowledge, and behavior change models for the core learning, and (3) summarizing and defining next steps at the end. Examples of specific models are provided for each category. The document encourages using the right mix of models to meet learning objectives and impact the organization. It promotes learning models as useful blueprints that can help new eLearning teams design quality programs more quickly.
