- 1. LABORATORY FILTER Designed for filtering small volumes of product where complete recovery of the fluid is required. This filter can also be used as a testfilter for upscaling purposes to determine the size of a horizontal plate filter. The L-1000 filter is operated by compressed air and is equipped with a pressure gauge. Very simple in construction and easy to be cleaned. All parts are in stainless steel 316 SS. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SPARKLER L-1000 FILTER CAPACITY The filter chamber has a capacity of 1000 cc. PRESSURE Maximum working pressure is 4 bar. SIZE OF FILTER MEDIA Circular sheets with a diameter of 140 mm TYPE OF FILTERMEDIA All types of laboratory and commercial filter papers on the market can be used. Since the paper is clamped in position by means of a positive bolted action other types of media such as filtercloth, glass fibre and metal wire screens can be used.
