- 2. Sound The sound used on the documentary about Lara Croft has a voiceover; one of the codes and conventions of a documentary. The voice over is male and standard English is used. The voiceover is relevant to the topic and the man speaking is a young male, around the same age and the people who will be playing the video game. Upbeat music is played throughout the documentary.
- 3. Camera work Many camera angles are used however are not meant to be noticeable. The interviews are filmed from left or right of the screen. The shots also include close ups, big close ups, medium close ups, conventional framing, tilted frame, handheld, tracking shots, point of view, zoom and pan.
- 4. Mise en scene Throughout the documentary chromakey and green screen are used, including footage from the video game. A front projection puts the women being interviewed into the video game, making it look effective. It also puts the creator of the game ‘into’ a computer screen.
