This report summarizes a Local Climate Impacts Profile (LCLIP) conducted for South Oxfordshire District Council to help the council assess risks from a changing climate. The LCLIP examined weather events from 2003-2008 through media searches and interviews. It found that surface flooding has been the highest risk, though changing seasons also impacted services. Recommendations include developing an adaptation action plan, monitoring weather/costs, and working with partners to increase community resilience. The LCLIP represents progress toward meeting the requirements of National Indicator 188 on climate change adaptation planning.
