This document discusses three infant reflexes: the swimming reflex, stepping reflex, and grasping reflex. The swimming reflex causes infants to hold their breath and move their arms and legs when placed in water. The stepping reflex causes infants to step when held upright with their feet touching the ground. The grasping reflex causes infants to curl their fingers around any object placed in their palm. All three reflexes disappear after a few months as the infant develops voluntary control.
