Learning example - 01. Introduction

This document discusses learning as the process of acquiring new, relatively enduring information or behaviors through experience. It explains that many of our passions, aversions, and responses develop after birth and cannot be innate. Classical conditioning, discovered by Ivan Pavlov, explains how many of these tendencies form through associating stimuli with rewards or punishments.
