Standardized Testing @ LVHS ● OGT still in place for 10th graders and above ● New tests in effect for 9th graders o PARCC: English 9, English 10, Algebra, Geometry o OHIO: Physical Science, American History, Government ● New accountability: “Quality points” system ● New accountability: Credentials for career-tech programs = test scores
- 21. Standardized Testing @ LVHS ● Quality Points system: o Tests scored like AP test, with 1-5 score range. o 3 = passing; 4 = college-ready o Current proposal: On 7 tests, students must earn at least 18 points ● “College entrance test” and AP test scores can substitute for test scores.
