Your brain needs to turn that stimulus into neural pulses & process it. Cognitive connections need to be made to relate new information to memories of real events or previously learned content. Capturing auditory information, storing it & playing it back can be a useful tool to support learning & encourage focused listening.

- 9. In My Classroom After reading this chapter, I realize how important audio & visual supports are in the classroom. The document table is a great invention for the classroom! I could use the projectors for different lessons I teach. Flips charts are great for going over spelling & vocabulary words with students.
