- 5. Skimming Skimming means that you read to get the main idea of the paragraph. You don’t have to know the meaning of every single word
- 6. What is the main idea of the paragraph We can use technology to improve education through varied ways. Technology is helping teachers to expand beyond traditional route learning and to engage students who learn best in other ways. Its role in schools has evolved from the “computer class” into an effective learning tool that could change how we demonstrate concepts, assign projects and assess progress.
- 7. Scanning If you need to find a specific piece of information quickly, you can scan a text for it. To scan efficiently, decide which text – and which part of the text – is most likely to contain the information you are looking for.
