- 7. Web Browser Is a computer program tou use to retrieve and view web pages. E.g. IE, NetScape
- 8. Web Server A computer program that is responsible for accepting HTTP requests from clients The computer on which such software runs is known as web server
- 9. Protocol is a set of rules which is used by computers to communicate with each other across a network. A protocol is a convention or standard that controls or enables the connection, communication , and data transfer between computing endpoints.
- 10. HTTP hypertext transfer protocol: a protocol (utilizing TCP) to transfer hypertext requests and information between servers and browsers
