The Lemo project investigates how big data can enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of European transportation across five dimensions: mode, sector, technology, policy, and evaluation. Funded by the EU Horizon 2020 program, it conducts case studies and provides recommendations for effective big data implementation, focusing on methodologies, barriers, and policy implications. The project aims to support evidence-based decision-making in the transport industry by addressing critical issues related to privacy, data security, and economic considerations.
