- 2. Presentation Design Presentation design is sometimes called visual design. It is the planning of how your web site will look. Some things to be considered are: What colors will look together? What fonts or styles will look best ? What graphics and multimedia effects are needed?
- 3. Thumbnail Sketches Thumbnail sketches are used to plan how a web site will look. These sketches are called thumbnails because they are small. Just like thumbnail images.
- 4. Themes The theme of a web site is the look. For example, if you are going to create a web site for a pizza place, you may not want it to have the same look as a funeral parlor.
- 5. Principles of Design There are three main principles of design: Unity – All elements on the page look like they belong together. Balance – Like a seasaw in a playground, elements on a page should balance.
- 6. Principles of Design Proportion – things look like they are the right size.
