What is the question asking us to do?

What structure should our answer have?

What should each paragraph focus on?

What will our Conclusion look like?

How should we separate the 10 marks?
The 1932 Presidential Election

In teams of 3 you are going to create an
     election campaign for Franklin D
              Roosevelt (FDR)

  What do parties produce during
      campaigns/elections?
Speeches – what they will do, why they are better than the
other side

Election posters – positive to them and negative towards the
opposition

Debates?

Leaflets through doors

Anything Else you can think of?
Can you create a campaign
  speech for Herbert Hoover?

Can you prepare for a debate
against FDR – you will be
            Hoover
You need to fill in the table with
information from your campaigns

     Roosevelt’s strengths Roosevelt’s weaknesses

     Hoover’s strengths Hoover’s weaknesses
Now it is time to answer the big Question…
Let’s think about this question

  Was it:
The experiences of ordinary people 1929-32
  Policies of the republicans
  Actions taken by the republicans
  Roosevelt’s election campaign
