LESSON PLAN FOR GRADE 8 STUDENTS
STUDENT’S NAME: MANALASTAS JENALYN
YEAR/COURSE: BSED-II MAJOR IN ENGLISH
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Identify when each punctuation mark (period, exclamation point, question mark,
comma and quotation marks) is needed;
2. Demonstrate an understanding of racial equality through group discussion; and
3. Give own example of the correct usage of punctuation marks. Discuss.
II. SUBJECT MATTER

MATERIALS: slide presentation, cartolina, cut out pictures

Start the day with a greetings
“Good morning students!”
“how are you today?
Good! Now let’s all stand for the prayer.
Prayer (ask someone to lead the prayer)
Ask the students to pick up pieces of paper
under the chair
“you may now sit down.”
Good morning teacher!
We’re doing fine!
Students will stand
Students will answer
Students pick a piece of paper under the chair.
Have conversation to the students first
Then,
Check the attendance.
Do some exercise first to make your students
alive and not feel sleepy.
Students say present
Students will follow
A. MOTIVATION

Vocabularies:
Activitiy.
prepare the words for the activity.
Ask your students to go in front and paste
words under your table to the board with a
white and black cartolina.
Ask your students why they paste those words
in that color.
Make it into another way around.
Ask your students this, “what if the color
black represent the black people and color
white represent the white people?
Let your students change their answer
Ask your student why they change the words
Then,
Show video about racial inequality
And Explain.
Student will go in one by one..
Students will answer the questions.
Student will go in front to change their words
to the appropriate color.
B. LESSON PROPER

Recite the poem about telephone
conversation
Give the students a copy
Let the students read and ask another
observation regarding the poem.
Let your students discuss their own opinion
about the inequality of the poem and how
they will respect equality and embrace the
