The lesson plan aims to teach kindergarten students about animal habitats and fruits and vegetables. Identify animals that live on land, on water and both on land and water; 2. Give examples of animals that live on land, water and both on land and water; and 3. Explain ways on how to show kindness to animals. II. SUBJECT MATTER: “Habitat of Animals” REFERENCE: 40 – Week Curriculum for Kindergarten MATERIALS: pictures, realia, strips, box, chart III. PROCEDURE: A. Review: Let the pupils recall the sounds of different animals. Let them sing the song “Kitty, Kitty meow!” B. Motivation: Show pictures of different animals in different habitats. Let the pupils describe each picture. Ask: Where does this animal live? C. Presentation: Today we are going to find out what animals live on land, on water and both on land and water D. Discussion: Show the pupils a box. Let them guess what’s inside the box. Let the pupils get one object from the box and give the name of each animal. Let the pupils place the toy animals in their habitat on the pocket chart. Say: Where does the fish live? What will happen if these animals will not be feed. How will you show kindness to these animals? E. Generalization: What animals live on land? Who can give me animals that live on water? How about animals that live on both land and water?
