particular corporate culture, co-worker scrutiny or morale, consultants can act as the catalyst for
change, through their vast knowledge and experience in any field.
As a management consultant, Bashir will provide strategic, unbiased and objective advisory
services which assist organisations in improving productivity and overall performance. Advisory
expertise covers areas such as change management, financial performance, marketing, business
restructuring and human resources, with an emphasis on managing risks and costs.
A typical project will involve meeting with clients, researching and analysing data, after which
recommendations will be presented to the clients and schedules for implementing improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The day-to-day activities will vary depending on the client and type of project. Some projects may
not require supplemental staff while others will involve a large team and may be based in one
location or across various sites. Typical tasks particularly involve but not limited to:
 carrying out research and data collection to understand the organisation
 conducting analysis
 interviewing the client's employees, management team and other stakeholders
 running focus groups and facilitating workshops
 identifying issues and forming hypotheses and solutions
 presenting findings, business proposals, recommendations and presentations
 implementing recommendations/solutions and ensuring the client receives the necessary
assistance to execute solutions
 managing projects and programmes
 liaising with the client to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.
 Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (recruiting, payroll,
promotional campaigns etc.) according to client’s requirements
 Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic
situation
 Collect information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (shadowing,
interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
 Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the
causes
 Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s wishes, capabilities
and limitations thereby forming concise reports
 Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
 Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
 Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies
 Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues
JOB SKILLS
Job duties will vary depending on the industry and based on the specific field of expertise. Fixing
or improving a particular component of the client's business is the broadest duty and may
sometimes require teaching the company’s employees how to manipulate a new software program
or some other skill that increases productivity or generates more revenue. Other related duties will
be to provide advice, make recommendations and excel at problem solving. As a management
consultant, the ability to provide guidance when a business needs reorganization, including the
termination of individual employees or entire departments.

REQUIREMENTS
A successful management consultant, Bashir has first and foremost broad knowledge of the many
facets of business and market forces and possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions
and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency.
Proven experience as business consultant or equivalent:
 Knowledge of diverse business matters such as
o IT, Marketing, HR, HSE, Property & Fleet Management, Physical & Electronic
Security, Electronic Access Control solutions
 Proficiency in MS Office
 Familiarity with a wide selection of business management software (CRM, ERP etc.) and
databases
 Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
 Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
 Aptitude in creative problem-solving
