supports students, teachers, and the greater community by effectively operating in all five roles.  While each role is distinct with its own responsibilities, they work in tandem with each other.  A library media specialist cannot expect to be a successful program administrator unless she has acted as a leader and won the support of the community.  In turn, she cannot expect to be an effectual teacher unless she has worked in collaboration with the teachers to understand the needs of the students and the school curriculum and can effectively teach information literacy skills.ConclusionAn Effective Library Media Specialist…
